Authenticate Your Poker Experience

You've got the cards, the chips, and the smoke filled room. But you're missing one key part of this scene; the large ovular poker table. Instead you and your merry band of would be World Series of Poker stars are playing at your old broken down kitchen table. You know the one with the uneven leg and the hole in the center.

Of course you have never given any real thought to purchasing a poker table. You're a pragmatic guy who makes the best of what you've got. Then you start to look around your make-shift poker room and see that little by little it's coming together. You have Dogs Playing Poker on the wall, a World Series of Poker directly opposite of it, a nice stereo playing your favorite station at a reasonable level and of course there's Poker Champ neon sign.

So why not just break down and get that poker table? It will be a wise investment in the long run. Poker tables do a number of things. First of all they spread you and the other players out quite a bit more than a regular table would. This will help cut back on cheating, and there's always someone who tries to catch a gander at your cards.

It's also going to effectively complete our poker room by becoming the center of attention. You can completely re-arrange everything in the room around your poker table. A finally there's the excitement of playing on a table just like the WSOP champions play on. You can't beat that.

How to Learn To Play Poker - FAST

Poker is a really wonderful game. It's something you can do with your family or a group of friends. The great thing about it really is the social aspect of the game.

But what if you don't know how to play? Or, maybe you know how to play but most of your friends and family don't. Those are both opportunities. How is that the case? Simple, if you or your family and friends don't know how to play the game then it gives you the opportunity to learn something new and bond with them over it. If it turns out to be the case that you know how and they don't well then you have an opportunity to educate them in the matter.

The best way to learn to play poker isn't to spend hours on the internet reading rules and tips from the pros. Now that does and always will help, but the easiest way to learn is to pick up a copy of Poker for Dummies. This DVD is specifically designed to help novices learn the game.

Like other DVDs and books in the for Dummies series it's really well done and easy to learn from. Chris Moneymaker, who won the 2003 WSOP, will teach you the fundamentals of poker and various other tips and strategies to win game after game.Bonding experiences are few and far between. Use this DVD not only to learn and improve your game, but to become closer to your loved ones as well through many fun nights around the poker table.
