If you are planning a get-together to celebrate your new game room, or maybe you are hosting the next poker party. Either way there are some things that you may want to make sure are on your checklist.

Naturally you want to have an area big enough for everyone to be comfortable. Alternatively, if space is limited you need to find ways to use all of the space available in the most efficient way. If you want to include a stereo in the room consider mounting the speakers on a wall in order to save space. A portable wet bar that can be moved out when needed and put away later is a great idea for a small room.

If you are anticipating a large number of people and you only have one "official" poker table consider getting a few poker tabletop felt layouts to use. They are fairly inexpensive and can be used as often as needed. Or if you prefer, you can get a folding poker table complete with padded rails and cup holders. It seats up to ten people and folds away for easy storage.
