A Place for Your Favorite Toys

Finally, your wife has agreed that maybe a game room is not such a bad idea after all. And it only took 2 years for you to convince her how great it would be. Of course, now you will have to let her have it a couple nights a month for bridge, or whatever, with the girls. But hey, you can live with that right?

Now its time for the decorating and you want to make sure it will be the envy of all your friends, so here are a few things you may want to consider. If you are converting an existing room or basement, you may want to include a few things such as good ventilation or perhaps ceiling fans to help with cigar or cigarette smoke. Naturally, you will want to include a big screen television to watch the game while playing cards. And just in case there are no interesting games on (though that is a rare occurrence); you might want to install a good stereo system. One additional item that is worth considering is insulation, possibly even a sound proofing type to avoid any possible disagreements with the spouse, just in case you and the guys get a little loud.

If you have always felt that themes or schemes were not something real men considered you may want to rethink that. What could be better than a Jack Daniels theme for the room? Including a Jack Daniels Poker Table and chairs, a great Jack Daniels home bar and for the finishing touch consider the Jack Daniels Nostalgic Jukebox. When your pals see your room there is likely to be a lot of drooling and back-slapping. Sounds good, huh?
