Plan a Father's Day Poker Bash

Father's Day is not that far away and you can give your dad a great Father's Day by throwing him a fun poker bash. If your dear old Dad still enjoys a round of cards, you can thrill him this Father's Day by giving him a poker table and inviting a group of family and friends to come help him break it in with a round of poker.

A fun way to gift him with a new poker table would be to give him a couple of packages for Father's Day. First hand him a wrapped deck of cards. He might be a little puzzled why you're only handing him cards and then hand him a box containing a new set of poker chips. Get a casino set instead of a set of cheap plastic chips. Then take him into another room and already have the poker table set up, your Dad will be thrilled at your gift.

A poker table such as the Jack Daniel's 2 in 1 Poker Table will seat up to eight players comfortably and has drink holders and padded fronts for maximum comfort when playing a long game of poker. If your father doesn't have room in his home for an entirely new poker table set up; you can still give the gift of poker with a good table top that first right on top of his kitchen table and then folds neatly away.

Make this Father's Day one that your Dad will never forget, invest in a fun time and get him a place to play his favorite game with family and friends and get him a new poker table and chips for this Father's Day.

Raise Money for Your Cause with a Casino Night

More and more organizations are realizing that they can raise good amounts of money through a casino night.

Depending on the number of people that will be attending will determine the amount of games you offer but a good selection is to offer a poker table, a blackjack table, a craps table, roulette table and many casino night parties construct their own "Big Money Wheel" where they have a wheel people can pay a small fee to spin for prizes. For your first casino night, you can usually count on people do lend you tables and items from their game rooms for your casino night, however if you want to do it on a regular basis as a fund raiser, it would be a good idea to invest in your own set of tables and supplies for this purpose.

You can sell tickets and then let people purchase tokens to play the games, the tokens can then be turned in prizes. Many casino nights party planners spend at least three months in advance collecting donations of prizes for the casino night. Whether or not you choose to have alcohol at your party will be a personal choice, some casino nights have an open bar as it usually raises more money and others choose not to because of the liability of serving party-goers drinks.

If you're wondering how to get people to work your party as dealers and servers; contact your local temporary agencies and see if they have a hospitality division, many of them do you can get workers for the night that already know the nuances of working a casino night and they will know how to deal the cards and ensure that your attendees all have a great time and good money is raised for your cause.
